Arabic Busbousa Cake Recipe | Naram, Meethi aur Asaan Semolina Cake

Busbousa aik mashhoor Arabic dessert hai jo suji (semolina) se banaya jata hai. Yeh cake bohat hi soft, juicy aur meetha hota hai kyun ke baking ke baad is par sheera (sugar syrup) dala jata hai. Ingredients (Ajzaa)




Cake ke liye:



  • Suji (Semolina) – 1 cup
  • Desi ya coconut powder – 1 cup
  • Cheeni – ½ cup
  • Dahi (Yogurt) – 1 cup
  • Cooking oil ya melted butter – ½ cup
  • Baking powder – 1 choti chamach
  • Vanilla essence – 1 choti chamach
  • Almond ya pista – decoration ke liye




Sheera (Sugar Syrup) ke liye:



  • Cheeni – 1 cup
  • Pani – 1 cup
  • Lemon juice – 1 chamach
  • Rose water ya kewra water – 1 choti chamach (optional)






Step by Step Banane ka Tareeqa




Step 1: Sheera Tayaar Karein



Sab se pehle pan mein cheeni aur pani daal kar medium flame par ubalne rakhein.

Jab 4–5 minute tak halki consistency ka sheera ban jaye, to us mein lemon juice aur rose water daal kar flame band kar dein.

Sheera thanda hone ke liye side par rakh dein.





Step 2: Cake Batter Banayein



Ek bowl mein suji, coconut powder aur cheeni daal kar achi tarah mix karein.

Ab is mein dahi, oil/butter aur vanilla essence add karein.

Sab cheezon ko spoon ya whisk se mix karein jab tak smooth batter ban jaye.

Aakhir mein baking powder daal kar halka sa mix karein.





Step 3: Batter Rest Karayein



Batter ko 10 minute ke liye rest dein taake suji achi tarah soak ho jaye.

Is se Busbousa aur zyada soft aur spongy banegi.





Step 4: Baking Tray Tayaar Karein



Baking tray ko oil ya butter se grease karein.

Batter tray mein daal kar evenly spread karein.

Upar se almond ya pista halka sa press kar ke laga dein.





Step 5: Bake Karein



Oven ko pehle se 180°C par preheat karein.

Busbousa ko 30–35 minute bake karein jab tak upar se golden color aa jaye.

Toothpick test karein — agar clean aaye to cake ready hai.





Step 6: Sheera Daalna (Most Important Step)



Jab cake oven se nikle aur garam ho, us par thanda sheera ahista ahista daal dein.

Cake sheera soak kar lega aur andar tak juicy ho jayega.

10–15 minute rest dein.





Serving Tips



Busbousa ko square ya diamond shape mein cut karein.

Thandi ya halki garam coffee / chai ke sath serve karein.
